The problem
Hotels, restaurants, and canteens with a sudden staffing gap need someone reliable fast, and the venues booking staff and the professionals looking for shifts were originally two separate audiences that a single site had to serve without confusing either one.
What was built
FlexMatch is a two-sided marketplace: venues book screened hospitality staff in minutes, and professionals pick up shifts that fit their schedule, with Stripe handling payment on both sides. What started as two separate properties — a public marketing site (FlexMatch.nu) and the booking system itself — has since been unified onto one platform, so the brand a customer books from and the system that actually runs the booking are finally the same thing. A companion iOS app is currently in Apple's review queue to extend the same booking flow to mobile.
